Travel in style and comfort aboard the DCS Amethyst on the Danube, one of Europe's longest rivers. On a total of four decks, the ship offers space for up to 178 guests in 89 outside cabins and promises dreamlike experiences as well as varied landscapes and grandiose metropolises. The ship has been partially refurbished early 2023.
You can also go on a culinary discovery tour with us. Enjoy the fresh buffet and the daily changing lunch and dinner menus in the restaurant. The Panorama Lounge invites you to linger, let your special vacation day unwind and maybe get to know your fellow travellers.
For your entertainment, the crew of the DCS Amethyst offers a varied on-board program such as an apple strudel demonstration or bingo. The on-board musician also sweetens your day with pleasant melodies and invites you to an evening of dancing. There is a fee-based wireless connection to the Internet available throughout the ship.
Take some time out and enjoy your visit in the sauna. Relax in the whirlpool or on one of the loungers in the relaxation area and rejuvenate with a fantastic view through the large panoramic window. Fitness equipment is available for sports enthusiasts.
Enjoy a fruity cocktail on the sun deck and marvel at the picturesque landscape along the Danube. Sun worshippers get their money's worth here in comfortable deck chairs, as do guests looking for a shady spot under the generous sunshade to rest their souls.
